Internal Opportunity
North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented individual to fill a challenging role as a Trainee Clinical Endoscopist. This is a part-time position that requires the successful candidate to complete their training in upper GI endoscopy.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services. This will involve working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing urgent access to inpatients for endoscopy procedures as appropriate
- Consistently meeting maximum waiting time targets for suspected cancer patients, routine diagnostics, and patients requiring further planned/surveillance procedures
- Providing high-quality, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services
