About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Support Specialist to join our team at GSF Car Parts. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering process training to frontline Branch staff, supporting the Branch Network in reaching targets in compliance and shrinkage, and resolving key operational issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver process training programs to ensure Branch staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work closely with Branch Managers and Operations Managers to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to drive compliance and shrinkage reduction.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure Branches are adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and guidance to Branch staff on operational issues and provide training on Cash Banking processes.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to develop and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Operational Training plans for branches covered.
  • Support the completion of PARC scoring by providing data and analysis.
  • Drive branches throughout the month to ensure smooth month-end completion.
  • Support Branch Stocktake Management program.
  • Develop key team members to follow defined RTS processes, reduce potential write-offs, and follow defined warranty processes.
  • Develop key team members to ensure all inventory processes are accurate and robust to enable accurate stock integrity.
  • Provide support to branches in crisis, such as stocktake progress problems or where volumes have built up.
  • Support Operations Managers and Audit in stock variance or stocktaking investigations.
  • Provide front-line support on small branch projects, such as racking or range location changes, and local branch projects as needed.
  • Provide support on other projects as directed by Operations Manager.
  • May be required to be an expert on a particular subject and provide guidance or deliver structured documented training physically or via Teams.

    Requirements:

    • Operational experience, ideally gained in a multi-site organization.
    • Good organizational skills.
    • Enthusiastic with the ability to motivate others and lead by example.
    • Excellent communicator, at all levels.
    • Able to work well under own initiative.
    • IT literate and proficient in use of Excel.
    • Clean, valid driving license with flexibility to travel (overnight stays may be required).
