Advanced Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Community Stroke Services. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, safe, evidence-based, and goal-focused rehabilitation to support stroke survivors in becoming experts in their own care and remaining in their own homes.
About the RoleThe key objectives for this post are to provide holistic assessment and specialist physiotherapy intervention, working closely with a team of Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS) model and be able to provide a needs-based service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, safe, evidence-based, and goal-focused rehabilitation to support stroke survivors
- Conduct holistic assessments and provide specialist physiotherapy intervention
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide a needs-based service
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to support stroke survivors in achieving their goals
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Physiotherapist who possesses the following qualifications and competencies:
- Registered physiotherapist with HCPC
- Professional knowledge and skills acquired through a combination of formal training, short courses, and experience to degree level or equivalent
- Relevant post-qualification training through short courses and/or further study and experience
- Evidence of ongoing CPD
- Registered member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
We offer a competitive salary of £37,338 to £44,962 per annum pro rata, as well as a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments, and access to a range of NHS discounts.
