About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Community Stroke Services. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, safe, and evidence-based rehabilitation to stroke survivors, enabling them to regain independence and remain in their own homes.

Main Duties
  • Provide holistic assessment and specialist physiotherapy intervention to stroke survivors.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, focusing on goal-oriented and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Registered physiotherapist with HCPC registration.
    • Professional knowledge and skills acquired through formal training, short courses, and experience to degree level or equivalent.
    • Relevant post-qualification training through short courses and/or further study and experience.
    • Evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • Desirable:
    • Registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
    • Recognized registered qualification and further courses and experience relevant to the role.
