Key Responsibilities

As a Food Service Assistant, you will be required to be flexible according to business requirements. Your daily focus may vary, but activities will typically include:

  • Preparing and serving food and beverages to customers
  • General kitchen duties
  • Food preparation, including making sandwiches and cold food
  • General front of house duties, such as clearing tables, table service, and customer service
  • Till work and taking payments
  • Restocking items and stock rotation
  • General cleaning of front and back of house
  • Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable, but full training will be provided
  • A great team player with a flexible approach to duties
  • DBS will be required
