SEN Teacher Role in Richmond

A dedicated SEN Teacher is required to work with small groups of children with specific learning difficulties in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach small groups of children with specific learning difficulties, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other staff.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in SEN education.
  • Strong understanding of specific learning difficulties and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • DBS check required.
