About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead our Environmental Compliance team in Europe. As a key member of our Sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve environmental compliance across our Customer Fulfillment network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align our sustainability goals with EU regulations and develop strategies to improve waste management and donations processes.
  • Drive process improvements in permitting, donations, and waste management by working with Central Ops and Sustainability teams.
  • Define the long-term strategy for collaboration with 3P vendors to achieve 3-year compliance goals and bridge current gaps.
  • Identify KPIs to manage performance, data quality, and cost of existing EU waste and donation processes.
  • Establish mechanisms to control spending and performance, and align yearly targets with Finance and Sustainability.
  • Influence tech teams to develop long-term solutions to manage waste segregation, return, and disposal more efficiently.
  • Create a framework to review waste disposal compliance, including operating permits, licenses, and authorizations.

Our team of environmental experts is passionate about optimizing waste management and disposal while ensuring compliance with EU regulations.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, chemical, or environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • Broad knowledge of EU and EU country-specific hazardous waste regulations, programs, and processes.
  • Experience leading change in multiple site environments and influencing those who are not direct reports or within your organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with Sr. Managers and Directors.
