Our ideal candidate for the Payroll and Expenses Administrator role is a strong communicator, able to answer all employee payroll and expense queries with ease.

Assisting with the processing of 7 monthly payrolls across 3 companies will be a key aspect of this role, as well as checking and processing all expenses and credit card claims.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in payroll and a strong understanding of current UK Payroll legislation and the processing requirements of all statutory payments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the processing 2 weekly payrolls across 2 companies.
  • Ensure strong communication skills as the main contact for payroll related queries.
  • Understand current UK Payroll legislation and the processing requirements of all statutory payments.
  • Process RTI following each pay run.
  • Produce P45 following each pay run.
  • Process Foreign payroll as required (RN, RU, CU, IR, IC, RB).
  • Process monthly payments to external agencies.
  • Check all Credit card transactions against coding and receipts provided ensuring company policy is adhered to.
  • Process and check all cash expenses ensuring company policy is adhered to.
  • Post payments made on the accounting system.
  • Adheres to the procedures and best practice relevant to the role.
  • Complete all tasks to deadlines to ensure minimal payroll queries.
  • Build effective relationships across the business.
  • Undertake such tasks and duties as may be reasonably requested by your manager or other members of the management team.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also independently.
