We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Secretary to join our Ophthalmology Service at Peterborough City Hospital.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead and manage the Ophthalmology Secretarial teams, ensuring the smooth running of our vital services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to Medical Staff and Nurse Specialists.
  • Manage enquiries from internal and external agencies.
  • Liaise with other departments within the Trust to ensure seamless service delivery.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience of using Careflow (Patient Admissions System) database, e-track, Evolve, Epro/Winscribe, ANGLIA ICE, and will be competent in using MS Word, with good written and verbal communication skills.
