The University of Glasgow is seeking a visionary leader to drive our research mission forward. As Executive Director of Research Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our research strategy and culture.

In this role, you will work closely with the Vice Principal for Research and Knowledge Exchange to lead our research mission. You will be responsible for integrating strategic initiatives with operational excellence to support our academic community.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can champion the development of a robust, inclusive, and interconnected research culture. If you are passionate about research excellence and have a proven track record of leadership, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a research strategy that aligns with the university's goals
  • Lead the development of a robust research culture that fosters collaboration and innovation
  • Work closely with the Vice Principal for Research and Knowledge Exchange to drive research excellence
  • Manage research infrastructure and resources to support academic community
  • Champion research impact and excellence through strategic initiatives and operational excellence
