Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Assistant to join our team at Perfect Placement. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our dealership group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase aged debtors and ensure timely completion of all accounts tasks
  • Manage risk, working capital, and ensure financial control
  • Liaise with local management and group-level finance teams to ensure consistent financial practices
  • Complete bank reconciliations, manufacturer bonus debt reconciliations, and assist with the production of management accounts
  • Post accruals and prepayments, manage demo write-downs, and assist with the sales and purchase ledger close
  • Review and report on aged debtors and assist with composite submissions to the brand

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the motor industry is essential
  • Comfortable working independently and supervising a small team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of sales administration in the motor industry would be beneficial, as well as familiarity with systems like AFRL and Pinnacle
