Senior Associate - Leveraged and Acquisition Financing Team

Gardner Halliday, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a senior associate to join its esteemed banking practice in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leveraged and acquisition financing, with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.

The successful candidate will advise both lenders and borrowers, including financial sponsors, on the financing of domestic and cross-border acquisitions in the mid-market. This will involve working on private equity sponsored management buy-outs, corporate acquisitions, refinancings, and recapitalisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising lenders and borrowers on leveraged and acquisition financing transactions
  • Working with financial sponsors on mid-market acquisitions
  • Developing and implementing financing strategies for clients
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in leveraged and acquisition financing
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
