Civil Site Manager Job Description

Cherry Professional is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to lead the execution of water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sites effectively, minimizing risks, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and communicate construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements, and other critical information.
  • Ensure accurate setting out, providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on site.
  • Influence site progress and ensure programme deadlines are met.
  • Develop effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety aspects are adhered to during the project phase.
  • Continuously develop industry knowledge and communicate best practice guidance to line managers and relevant staff.
  • Maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Undertake other duties as necessary, including management responsibilities for Health and Safety policies and procedures, and management of subcontractors and teams.
