Equipment Specialist

About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer at ZF Group, you will be part of a team of multi-skilled professionals responsible for maximizing machine uptime while minimizing unplanned downtime. Your primary focus will be on performing preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machines, assembly processes, and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns with extensive fault finding, including electrical and mechanical systems
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance of CNC machinery and assembly equipment
- Perform Predictive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on CNC machinery and assembly equipment
- Support maintenance and factory-based improvement projects
- Complete service reports and internal systems via our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Requirements
- Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics), ideally with a Higher National Certificate (HNC) qualification
- Electrically biased, with a proven ability to work in both electrical and mechanical fields
- Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Experience with CMMS systems, particularly SAP, is preferred
- PLC experience is advantageous
- Robotics experience, especially in Kuka robotics, is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, embracing personal challenges and promoting openness, mutual respect, and collaborative working
- Ability to engage and motivate others
