We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Speedy Services. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding parts on new and existing equipment to ensure high-quality products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all types of fabrication and welding of parts on new and existing equipment to ensure defect-free products.
- Operate equipment related to your trade or training, and have the ability to carry out work on your own initiative.
- Advise on any defects or deficiencies in equipment or arrangements that could compromise health and safety.
- Work with the Production Controller to ensure accurate and on-time completion of workshop requirements.
- Ensure a high level of housekeeping in your area of responsibility.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Requirements:
- Highly self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- All-round knowledge of mechanical engineering and lifting and handling equipment.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Support the business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy.
