About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children and Young People Mental Health Community Practitioner to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the assessment, delivery, and evaluation of Eating Disorder needs for young people accepted by the service.
  • Provide specialist eating disorder assessments to children and young people with complex health needs, working collaboratively with the team and child/parents/carers to deliver a treatment plan that offers a range of therapeutic approaches.
  • Undertake preventative aspects of service delivery, including consultation and expert advice to other professionals, and participate in training programmes.
  • Work within CWP policies and service operational policies, taking responsibility for decisions in accepting, prioritising, and assessing referrals to the service.
