Job Title: Private Client Lawyer Head of Department

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Private Client Lawyer to lead our Private Client team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Private Client department, providing strategic direction, and delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Private Client team, overseeing a team of skilled lawyers and support staff.
  • Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services and exceptional client care.
  • Casework: Handle a varied caseload of Private Client matters, demonstrating expertise in areas such as wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
  • Team Culture: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging professional development and continuous learning.
  • Values and Excellence: Implement and uphold the firm's values and commitment to excellence in legal services.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Ideally a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Private Client law.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven management and supervisory experience, showcasing leadership skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Client Relationships: A track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
