About the Role

Job Summary

Browns Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Lawyer to join our team. As a Private Client Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of private client law, including simple and complex wills, lifetime tax planning, administration of estates, powers of attorney, elderly client matters, and court of protection.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
  3. Stay up-to-date with regulatory compliance procedures, Lexcel, and ISO standards, ensuring our firm's high standards are met.
  4. Contribute to the growth and development of our private client department, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in private client law, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  3. Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  4. Proficient in case management systems and software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  5. A genuine interest in private client work and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
