Job Overview

Prospero Teaching is a leading provider of educational support services in the UK, partnering with Local Councils and SEND teams to deliver high-quality teaching solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support in core subjects to pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, focusing on Maths, English, and Science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized learning plans
  • Use creative and innovative approaches to engage pupils and promote academic achievement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months tutoring experience
  • Experience working with SEND pupils or disengaged learners
  • UK classroom teaching experience

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £25-£35 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a competitive rate of pay to reflect the skills and qualifications required for this position.
