Job Description:

We are seeking a Healthcare Education Specialist to join our team in the Institute for Physician Assistant Education at Widener University. As a Healthcare Education Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing curriculum for the PA Program, including foundational sciences and healthcare education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach courses in the PA Program, including foundational sciences and healthcare education
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students
  • Stay current with best practices in healthcare education and incorporate new ideas into curriculum

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare education or physiology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience teaching in a higher education setting
  • Strong knowledge of physician assistant practice and scientific knowledgebase

Estimated Salary:

$140,000 per year, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
