Teaching Assistant Opportunity in a Redditch School

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join our team in a school in Redditch. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN and a Level 3 NVQ certificate related to education or equivalent.

In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement educational plans that cater to the needs of a child with SEN. You will also be responsible for providing individual support to the child, leading group work sessions, and collaborating with the class teacher to develop strategies to promote the child's learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing educational plans for a child with SEN
  • Providing individual support to the child, including one-to-one tuition and activities
  • Leading group work sessions to promote social skills and inclusion
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to develop strategies to promote the child's learning and well-being
