Orthoptist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Orthoptist to join our dynamic team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an Orthoptist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality Orthoptic and visual field services to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Providing timely and accurate Orthoptic and visual field services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex ocular motility defects.
- Working closely with our team of Orthoptists, Paediatric and Adult Strabismus Consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participating in the supervision and clinical instruction of undergraduate Orthoptic students and other healthcare professionals.

We are looking for an experienced Orthoptist with a strong background in Orthoptic and visual field services, including experience of assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex ocular motility defects. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well within a team and on your own.
Essential qualifications include an Orthoptic Degree or Diploma recognized for State Registration and State Registration with the HCPC. Desirable qualifications include a Degree awarded at 2:1 or above and Exemptions Qualification.
