Job Title: Child and Family Welfare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join PP Associates Ltd as a Child and Family Welfare Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in providing support and intervention to children and families in need, ensuring their well-being and safeguarding. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families, community organizations, and other professionals to create positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.

* Develop and implement individual care plans and intervention strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each family.

* Provide direct support to children and families through home visits and counselling sessions, promoting emotional wellbeing and stability.

* Establish strong relationships with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive support for families.

* Advocate for children's rights and ensure their voices are heard, promoting their active participation in decision-making processes.

* Regularly review and monitor cases, adapting plans as necessary to address changing circumstances and priorities.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of casework and interventions, demonstrating commitment to transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

* Possess a recognized qualification in Social Work (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).

* Hold registration with Social Work England (or relevant regulatory body).

* Previous experience in child and family social work is desirable, although not essential.

* Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices is mandatory.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required to succeed in this role.

* Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment, fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and external partners.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
