About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at ILS Case Management. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting James, a 10-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and visual impairment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support James with daily activities, including getting up and dressed, ready for school, and assisting with personal care.
  • Accompany James to hydrotherapy sessions on a 2:1 care basis and participate in other activities with or without his family members.
  • Assist with household chores and provide emotional support to James and his family.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with special needs and complex medical needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion.
  • Valid DBS check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £14.50-£16.00 per hour, depending on the shift.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
  • Pension scheme (subject to qualifying status).
