Teaching Assistant Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the school staff, you will play a vital role in supporting a Reception pupil with SEN. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Providing individualized support to the pupil, adapting resources as needed.
  2. Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement IEPs.
  3. Fostering positive relationships with peers and promoting social and emotional development.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  1. Experience working with children with Down's syndrome or additional needs.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  4. A relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
