Oxford Economics, a leading global economic research and consultancy firm, is seeking an Economist to join our expanding Macroeconomic Modelling and Scenarios team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop bespoke scenarios for strategic planning, stress testing, and asset allocation strategies
  • Support financial sector clients with asset return modelling and climate scenario analysis
  • Lead research on macroeconomic impacts of climate change
  • Work with the Oxford Economics' GEM model to produce regulatory stress tests and economic scenarios
  • Write research reports and briefings on climate-related issues and economic trends
  • Improve the GEM model's properties and develop new climate policy levers
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as an economist or related field
  • Strong education in Economics to at least undergraduate level
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of current economic and policy challenges
  • Previous experience with applied macroeconomic models and statistical software
