Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Economic Insight Specialist to work directly alongside our Chief Economist, tracking the major developed and emerging economies and providing independent insights on the financial markets.

The successful candidate will have daily interaction with Fund Managers and Research Analysts on economic and market developments. The Economics research team's central role in the investment business enables close collaboration with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Track major developed and emerging economies
  2. Provide independent insights on the financial markets

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing economic trends and data to inform investment decisions. You will also work closely with the Chief Economist to develop and implement research strategies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a postgraduate degree in economics, econometrics, or statistics from a top-tier university. Additionally, you will have experience in an investment-related field and possess a passion for economics and investment concepts.

A strong understanding of economic theories and models is essential, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools is also required.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities is a plus.

Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
