Job Opportunity at Nelsons

Nelsons, a leading law firm in the East Midlands, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Commercial Litigation Partner / Legal Director to join our team of specialists.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Litigation and will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of matters from end to end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of Commercial Litigation matters
  • Reviewing documentation and conducting legal research
  • Preparing detailed advice for clients
  • Instructing and briefing counsel and experts
  • Drafting all legal documentation
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to promote teamworking
  • Undertaking a business development plan and associated activities at Legal Director Level

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years post-qualifying experience (PQE) in Commercial Litigation
  • At least 3 years as a Senior Associate level
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Technical strength with an eye for detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Reliability, organisation, and time management skills
