Financial Trust Administrator

We are a leading private client firm in Aberdeen, seeking an experienced trust administrator to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator to manage private and charitable trusts. The role involves:
- Liaising with external stakeholders, including beneficiaries, accountants, stockbrokers, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborating with legal colleagues on relevant matters.
- Maintaining compliance records of trustees and beneficiaries, providing regular updates and correspondence.
- Managing a central diary of key trust dates and details of trust investments.
- Drafting trust documentation under legal supervision.
- Taking minutes at trustee meetings.
- Preparing annual reports for trustees.
- Arranging beneficiary payments.
We are looking for an individual with experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, demonstrating strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in:
- Effective communication with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Efficient and effective administrative, IT, and organisational skills.
- An understanding of accounts and financial reports.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently.
This post comes with an attractive remuneration package, including an estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
