Our direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network enables over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own produce and that of third parties. At our Wisbech site, we have a team of 450 colleagues who manufacture premium chilled ready-to-cook meals for Asda and Co-op.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Maintain day-to-day operations by performing routine maintenance tasks and site repairs to achieve maximum productivity.
  2. Conduct fault finding, planned, and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
  3. Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure they're aware of all relevant engineering activities and schedules.
  4. Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production uptime according to given priorities.
  5. Ensure all work is carried out safely and correctly, adhering to food safety standards and controls.
  6. Record stock removed from Engineering stores to maintain accurate stock control.

Shift: 4 on 4 off Days (06:00 - 18:00)

  1. Diagnose job maintenance requirements.
  2. Request Engineering parts via stores/Engineering Shift Manager.
  3. Refer to Engineering Shift Manager for significant process changes or escalated performance-driven issues.
