Our direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network enables over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own produce and that of third parties. At our Wisbech site, we have a team of 450 colleagues who manufacture premium chilled ready-to-cook meals for Asda and Co-op.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain day-to-day operations by performing routine maintenance tasks and site repairs to achieve maximum productivity.
- Conduct fault finding, planned, and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure they're aware of all relevant engineering activities and schedules.
- Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production uptime according to given priorities.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and correctly, adhering to food safety standards and controls.
- Record stock removed from Engineering stores to maintain accurate stock control.
Shift: 4 on 4 off Days (06:00 - 18:00)
- Diagnose job maintenance requirements.
- Request Engineering parts via stores/Engineering Shift Manager.
- Refer to Engineering Shift Manager for significant process changes or escalated performance-driven issues.
