Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Engineer Apprentice at Briggs Equipment Ltd. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of industrial equipment and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £15,700 in Year 1, progressing each year to £25,000 in Year 4 (subject to satisfactory performance)

Location: PE13 2RG - Wisbech

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced engineers in maintaining, servicing, and repairing industrial equipment, including forklift trucks and powered access equipment. You will also have the opportunity to learn about health and safety procedures, customer service, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced engineers in maintenance, servicing, and repair of industrial equipment
  • Learn about health and safety procedures, customer service, and teamwork
  • Gain hands-on experience working with industrial equipment

Requirements:

  • GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English, Science, and Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety principles
  • Basic IT skills
  • Able to manage workload, meet deadlines under pressure
  • Clear and polite communication skills
