About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Forklift Equipment Technician Trainee at Briggs Equipment Ltd. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in the field.

Estimated Salary: £30,000+ per annum

Location: PE13 2RG - Wisbech

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced engineers in maintaining, servicing, and repairing forklift trucks and powered access equipment. You will also have the opportunity to learn about customer service, teamwork, and health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced engineers in maintenance, servicing, and repair of forklift trucks and powered access equipment
  • Learn about customer service, teamwork, and health and safety procedures
  • Gain hands-on experience working with industrial equipment

Requirements:

  • GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English, Science, and Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety principles
  • Basic IT skills
  • Able to manage workload, meet deadlines under pressure
  • Clear and polite communication skills
