Freight Sales Manager

We are seeking a skilled Freight Sales Manager to join our team in Cambridge. As the key point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for developing and promoting the growth of their sea logistics business.
Your primary focus will be on new business opportunities in the Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) segment. You will have a thorough understanding of trade lanes, including geography, service offerings, and local regulations. The successful candidate will spend most of their time engaging with customers, hunting for new business, and working closely with the Customer Care team.
Key Responsibilities:- To prepare and submit quotations to customers.
- To report customer complaints to the Customer Care team.
- A proven track record as a sales representative in the freight forwarding industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a targeted new business environment, develop sales leads, and care for colleagues through employee assistance programs.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working within a dynamic team and be willing to travel around East England.
The salary for this role is approximately £50,000 per annum, plus a car allowance and commission based on volume.
