Job OverviewWe offer a competitive salary of £24,071 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata, making it an attractive option for individuals looking to launch or advance their career in healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personal care to patients, working closely with registered nurses to ensure seamless delivery of care interventions.
- Supporting registered nurses in the delivery of end-of-life care
- Providing personal care in line with individual care plans
- Following all care plans, wound care, catheter care, and medication administration
As a Healthcare Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the identification of health needs and participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual care interventions under the supervision of a registered practitioner
- Providing advice to clients and carers on health needs and public health remits under the supervision of a registered practitioner
- Maintaining accurate records as per trust policy and communicating information to team members as necessary
- Demonstrating knowledge of external agencies involved in patient care and working in partnership with these agencies under the supervision of a registered practitioner
