Welfare Officer

DiverseJobsMatter is looking for a skilled Welfare Officer - Animal Care to join our team. As a Welfare Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of animals in need. This includes working proactively to prevent animal cruelty and neglect, as well as providing support to animal owners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Visiting locations to check on animal welfare and provide support to animal owners
- Collaborating with other agencies to secure the welfare of animals
- Developing and implementing strategies to prevent animal cruelty and neglect
You must be a confident swimmer and have a Level 2 qualification in English Language (GCSE grade C or above). A full manual driver's licence is also essential for this role.
The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience.
