About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team at Jacobs. As a key member of our project and engineering portfolio, you will be supporting our client EDF Energy Nuclear Generation with their nuclear fleet in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site walkdowns to identify and document existing systems and equipment
  • Update and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with project planners to develop and implement project plans and schedules
  • Provide technical expertise and knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve engineering design problems
  • Develop and implement plant modifications and upgrades
Requirements
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including CAD software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
