Support Worker Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Support Worker Specialist to join our team in the Wyre Forest area. In this role, you will work with adults using a strengths-based approach to reduce and manage complex or fluctuating needs.
- You will work in partnership with other professionals to ensure a multi-agency approach supporting independence.
- Your role will involve representing service, adult, and carer views at meetings and exchanging information to make decisions and review progress.
- You will engage with adults and carers using a strengths-based approach to identify resources meeting their needs.
- This position requires building relationships with agencies and the local community to signpost when appropriate.
- You will identify potential deprivation of liberty and ensure the least restrictive means of care provision.
- Continuous professional development requirements and staying up-to-date with legislative changes are essential for this role.
- You will participate in training and support staff development to meet changing job demands.
- This role involves carrying out and reviewing assessments and support plans for adults and their carers to build a good life in their community.
Requirements:
- A Social Work Qualification or equivalent is required.
- You must be registered with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
The salary for this role is estimated to be £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. If you have a disability or require reasonable adjustments, please highlight this at the earliest opportunity.
