Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at an outstanding Special Education Needs (SEN) school in Reading. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with students aged 3-18 who require support with various needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioral challenges, sensory issues, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Collaborate with other SEN practitioners and staff to promote student well-being
  • Complete Learning Milestones and academic objectives

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Compassionate and positive mindset
  • Demonstrated interest in working with children or in Mental Health

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate: £83 - £95
  • Long-term temporary position with opportunity for permanent placement
  • Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
