Learning Support Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
  • Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
  • Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
  • Keeping track and recording pupil progress.

Working Environment:

As a Learning Support Assistant at Academics Ltd, you will be part of a supportive team that values individual success and well-being. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies for supporting pupils with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD and ADHD.
  • Ability to work 1:1 with pupils and in small groups.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to keep accurate records of pupil progress.
