About the Role

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people in their daily routines, including morning and evening care, meal preparation, and ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Encourage and facilitate young people's participation in activities, hobbies, and social events, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for young people.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being among young people.

Requirements
  • A level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young people in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
