About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dedicated care home team in Sunderland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents living with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents
  • Provide expert nursing care and support to residents with mental health conditions, including administering medication and monitoring physical health
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Valid Pin number and registration with the NMC
  • Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a care home setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for delivering person-centered care and support
