Youth Support Specialist

At Inspire EHC in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Support Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, providing essential care and support to help them reach their full potential. Your role will involve implementing tailored programmes that promote each child's social and emotional development, working in collaboration with teaching and care staff, as well as external professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans, aligned with EHCP and Thrive progress targets, to ensure meaningful progress for each child.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the school, parents, and external agencies, ensuring seamless communication and support for each child.
- Cultivate strong relationships with teaching and care staff, as well as external agencies, to create a supportive environment that fosters the child's growth and eventual reintegration into society.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children with SEMH needs.
- Experience working with Individual Support Plans and an understanding of EHCP goals.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies.
Salary and Benefits: £13-£16 per hour, based on experience, plus ongoing training and development opportunities, a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team, and the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children in need.
