About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Allied Health Professional to join our team as a Deputy Chief Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping the future of healthcare services.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading and managing change in complex healthcare environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve healthcare services, working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective partnerships and outcomes.

A key aspect of this role will be the management and leadership of quality and safety initiatives, ensuring that patient care meets the highest standards. The Deputy Chief Officer will also be responsible for promoting research and innovation within the AHP services, driving improvements through evidence-based practice.

Requirements
  • Qualifications:
    • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
    • Doctorate or equivalent relevant experience, plus further significant continuous professional development
    • Management qualification or completion of senior level leadership programme
    • Quality improvement training and/or qualification
  • Experience:
    • Extensive experience of leadership and management at senior AHP level
    • Successful track record of leading and managing change in large, complex healthcare environments
    • Experience of building effective partnerships and delivering change through partnership working
    • Significant experience of quality assurance and quality improvement
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to communicate complex information effectively
Benefits

This post offers a competitive salary of £105,385 to £121,271 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

Location

This role is based in Kent, with regular travel to various locations throughout the region.
