About the Role

We are seeking an experienced TechOps Team Lead to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading our TechOps team and ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the TechOps team to deliver high-quality technical services and support to our employees.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical services and support.
  • Manage and prioritize technical projects and initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, IT operations, and technical services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
