Job Title: Broadcast & Streaming Event Technician

Join EVCOM as a skilled Broadcast & Streaming Event Technician to deliver end-to-end broadcast event production, including technical coordination, presentation setup, and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure technical success for all live broadcasts
  • Provide top-class customer service skills, explaining client services to event planners
  • Responsible for planning, staffing, and delivering event requests in fully equipped event spaces
  • Operate installed AV systems, including Ross Carbonite switcher, PTZ cameras, Cisco Telepresence, and Yamaha audio consoles
  • Maintain audio visual equipment and ensure SOPs are applied
  • Contribute to R&D efforts, identifying process improvements and quality enhancements
  • Assist in creating SOP documents, completing event reporting, and utilizing internal systems
  • Manage technical risks throughout pre-production, execution, and post-event
  • Deliver high-quality service to customers and adhere to broadcast standards
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in streaming and venue space equipment (hardware & software)
  • 3+ years of professional technical live event production experience
  • Understanding of installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of broadcast, audio visual, and video conferencing equipment and systems
  • Strong proficiency in operating Ross Carbonite switcher, PTZ cameras, Cisco Telepresence Units, and Yamaha LS9 audio consoles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse team
