Job Overview: SeeAbility is seeking a highly skilled Male Senior Complex Needs Support Worker Specialist to join our team in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will work on a shift rota basis to provide person-centered care and support individuals with complex needs, promoting independence.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role: As a Male Senior Complex Needs Support Worker Specialist, you will deliver high-quality support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and choice. This includes planning and implementing person-centered care plans, working closely with other professionals to ensure integrated support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Living Tasks: Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Supporting Independence: Support individuals to engage in activities and pursue their interests, promoting social interaction and community integration.
  • Care Planning: Plan and implement person-centered care plans, working closely with other professionals to ensure integrated support.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and other professionals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a care or support role, preferably in a complex needs setting.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle (for some roles).
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
