Family Solutions Senior Social Worker Role Overview
Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join their Family Solutions team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting Social Workers to undertake complex social work assessments and formulate support, protection, and care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Social Workers in undertaking complex social work assessments
- Formulate support, protection, and care plans
- Negotiate with colleagues and partner agencies to resolve differences of opinion
- Build effective, long-lasting relationships with service providers
- Attend court and give evidence when required
- Initiate and implement child protection plans
- Manage packages of care
- Undertake parenting and risk assessments
Requirements:
- Post-qualifying experience of working as a Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry
- HCPC Registration
- 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (can be obtained)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
