At The Springfield Project, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to lead our Child Friendly Neighbourhood programme in Sparkhill. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the programme, ensuring targets are met, and delivering high-quality services to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage existing and developing services for children and young people aged 5-19, including holiday playschemes, after-school activities, community events, and youth advisory boards.
- Provide line management and supervision for staff, as well as oversee contracted partners working with us under service level agreements.
- Develop new services for children and young people in the local area, ensuring their voices are amplified and their needs are met.
- Work closely with other departments within The Springfield Project to ensure a joined-up approach to addressing whole family wellbeing and improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Develop and build on strong partnerships with local partner organisations, including schools, health organisations, and community groups.
- Promote the principles of child-friendly neighbourhoods and showcase our work to stakeholders.
- Support and prioritise the physical and emotional safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
- Experience in managing programmes and services for children and young people.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
