Job Summary:

We are seeking flexible and committed Support Workers to provide a quality service to the people we support. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for promoting the independence of individuals, enabling them to develop new skills and friendships, and encouraging them to enjoy a full life within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personalized care to promote independent living, including cooking, housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Accompanying individuals to social, leisure, and recreational activities, hobbies, and providing support as needed.
  • Working in a safe and professional manner to maintain the dignity, safety, and independence of individuals.
  • Supporting individuals to develop new skills and friendships, and encouraging them to participate in community activities.
  • Traveling to various locations, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to provide support to individuals.

Requirements:

  • A genuine care and empathy for individuals with learning or physical disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • A full current driving license and Business Class 1 vehicle insurance (if applicable).
  • Proof of right to work in the UK, full employment history, and references.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care, provided free of charge.
  • A competitive holiday entitlement, including 29 days (pro rata) per annum rising to 33 days (pro rata) per annum after 5 completed years of continuous service.
