Baxter, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Global Trade Center of Excellence. As a key member of our team, you will drive the improvement of our Global Trade Management Program, ensuring seamless imports and exports while maintaining compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Leverage deep Global Trade expertise to advise local and regional teams on trade and customs matters
- Monitor and assess the impact of changes to Global Customs and related laws and regulations
- Orchestrate the execution of our Global Trade digital strategy, including software implementation and partner integrations
- Develop Global Trade Master Data Management and Compliance Screening Standards
- Investigate and implement strategic cost savings initiatives via Trade mechanisms
- Coordinate review and update of internal Global Trade Compliance policies and procedures
- Employ lean/six sigma principles to prioritize continuous improvement across all Global Trade activities
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
- At least 7 years of International trade compliance experience
- Detailed understanding of supply chain logistics and knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and supplier management
- Experience working with Global Teams in a matrixed environment
- Customs Brokers license or similar certification is highly preferred
- Experience and interaction with Customs, FDA/MOH, and other international government agencies
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
